Clean water

The body of an average adult consists of 35 - 50 liters of water. Water is essential to all living organisms. The main component of the human body is water. The brain and heart are composed of 73% water, while the lungs are about 83% water. The skin contains 64% water, the muscles and kidneys are 79%, and even the bones are watery: 31%.1

Is the tap water we drink safe? Mostly not.
There are many “regulated” contaminants and even more unregulated toxins present in tap water. Tap water is often purified by adding disinfection solvents such as chloride and other chemicals which end up in our bodies, like arsenic, lead cadmium, fluoride or bacteria, yeasts and viruses.
The “purified” tap water that reaches our homes is often full of iron compounds, because the water travels through old corroded underground pipes and all of that rust reaches the water we usually drink and use in the household. The long exposure to such chemicals leads to skin damage, problems with the circulatory system, increased risk of getting cancer, kidney problems, high blood pressure and other serious health conditions.5

Stage 1:

5-micron PP filter
Effectively removes larger particles, like rust and sand, as well as other solid impurities from the water.


 


Larger particles like sediment, dirt, rust and other solid impurities with a diameter 0.05mm or higher are removed by the first 5-micron PP filter of AqueenaPro.
 

Stage 2:

Pellet Carbon filter
Absorbs free chlorine, organic matter, odours, discolouration and other substances from the water.
 
The second, Pellet filter absorbs free chlorine, organic matter, odours, discolouration and other substances from the water.
 

Stage 3:

1-micron PP filter
Filters particles of a smaller size, such as suspended solids and colloids.
 
The smaller, invisible to the naked eye colloidal particles that passed the first obstacle are stopped by 1-micron PP filter.
 

Stage 4:

Reverse osmosis membrane
Removes bacteria, viruses, heavy metals, like lead, cadmium, mercury, pesticide residues
2,4,6-Trichlorophenol, nitrite compounds and other harmful substances.
 
The next stage of water purification in the AqueenaPro consists of an osmotic semi-permeable membrane that filters water at a molecular level.
 

Stage 5:

Coconut post-filter
Improves odour and adjusts taste.
 		 After passing the Reverse osmosis membrane, the purified water flows slowly through a cocnut post-filter filter that improves odour and adjusts the taste.

Working mode

Standby mode
The filtration process is on hold, meaning the booster pump is inactive and the inbuilt water tank's maximal volume has been reached.

Flush mode
The icon lights up when the process of cleaning the RO membrane is ongoing, preventing the RO membrane from clogging.

Filter Status Display
A sensor detects the filter conditions and changes the color codes when a new filter is needed.
The filter status display always shows the current condition of the filters:
Green light - the filter is working at its optimum
Orange light - the filter will soon need replacement
Red light - the filter needs immediate replacement and further use is not recommended.
